  1. WIDE BAND EXPANSION & CROSS BAND REPEATER MODIFICATIONS FOR ALINCO DR-510T/E

  4.    A:Remove Power source and antenna.
  5.    B:Take out the screws from top casing and remove top.
  6.    C:Snip yellow wire located and looped around the blue capacitor.
  7.    D:Take out the two screws from the edges of the tone control board,
  8.      so you can access the main board.
  9.    E:Solder in place a 100uf/16V electrolytic capacitor, -ve lead to 
  10.      pin 8 of "M54959P"ic and +ve lead to the third pin of the socket to
  11.      the right of above ic (should have orange wire in it).
  12.    F:Take off front cover.
  13.    G:Short out the chip resistor R35 and solder a bridge to the pads to
  14.      the left of the resistor.
  15.    H:Put radio back together.
  16.    I:Reset the Microprocessor and turn set on.

  18. CROSS BAND REPEATER SET UP:
  19.    Set VHF and UHF Frequencies and press the shift until the Dual sign
  20.    is shown.
  21.    To turn on; Hold down Rev and put on the power.
  22.    To turn off; Turn the power off.
  23.    The volume control selects the amount of repeater audio.
